Itinerary

Day 1 DEPART USA / BELIZE CITY, BELIZE.
Upon arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 BELIZE CITY / CAYO DISTRICT.
A full day to visit the Belize Zoo and tour the Xunantunich Maya ruins. The view from atop El Castillo Pyramid is spectacular. You will also see some of the finest Maya sculpture in Belize. (B,L,D)

Day 3 MOUNTAIN PINE RIDGE FOREST RESERVE EXCURSION.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour of the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Enter the beautiful pine forest on your way to the 1,000-ft falls. Next travel through a tropical forest to the Rio Frio Caves. (B,L,D)

Day 4 CAYO DISTRICT / SAN PEDRO, AMBERGRIS CAYE.
This morning, tour the Panti Medicinal Trail. Next, visit the Cahal Pech Maya site for a guided walking tour. Return to Belize City this afternoon for the short flight to San Pedro, Ambergris Caye. (B,L)

Days 5-7 AMBERGRIS CAYE.
Three days to relax and enjoy the ambience of this beautiful island. Life here is casual and carefree. The Caye parallels Belize’s barrier reef – the longest unbroken living coral reef in the world. This is a paradise for swimming, diving and snorkeling. When you are not in the water, you can stroll down Main Street, visiting the shops and restaurants, take a ride in a glass bottom boat, parasail, or just relax on the beach. (B daily)

Day 8 SAN PEDRO / DEPART BELIZE CITY.
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, arriving the same day. (B)
